Happy Easter and New Hope for Ukrainian Kids
Easter, known as the “Velykden” (The Great Day) is one of the most important holidays in Ukraine. In the Christian religion, it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and, in a cultural sense, it symbolizes hope for the new beginning and joy in welcoming a bright future. It is a kind and cheerful holiday, spent among the family, honoring traditions and ancestors.
This year, on Velykden, our thoughts are with kids whose families are on the frontlines. So many of them were teachers, doctors, artists, scientists, cooks, and simply – parents to their children – on February 24th 2022. This year, their kids will be spending this special day without their moms and dads who are fighting to defend their country and their future, and some of whom will not be coming home, having given their lives in this fight.
We cannot take away the children’s loss, but we can strive to lessen their anguish and try, even in a small, simple way, to bring a little joy and sunshine back into their lives.
We are teaming with our partners – volunteers originally from Zaporizhzhya, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnitsky and other parts in Ukraine affected by the war, who are working with thousands of kids from the frontline regions internally displaced within Ukraine.

Hot Meals for Residents of Northern Saltivka
Situated on the northern edge of Kharkiv, just 10 miles from the border with russia, and home to some 400 thousand people before the war, Northern Saltivka has been the most heavily shelled area of the city. While many residents got evacuated, those who stayed behind – mostly elderly and disabled – have been sustained by volunteers, braving daily danger to bring them food and basic necessities. With your generous support, they will continue this important work and help the vulnerable residents persevere through the winter.

Helping Pets Survive the Winter
Support Science Education for Ukrainian Childen
Ever since the Soviet times, Ukraine has been on the forefront of science. Ukrainian children are the future of the country, and their education is one of the very top concerns of the families. The war has caused an enormous disruption to learning. Supporting science education is investing in the future of Ukraine.
We have partnered with MEL Science, Earthlings Hub, UNICEF Ukraine, and Kiddo Byte Ukraine to provide over 10,000 MEL Science science kits and experiments to children in refugee camps and schools throughput the country.
These are amazingly fun, accessible and educational kits that we have used with our own children and are thrilled at an opportunity to introduce them to children in Ukraine.
After the first 10,000 kits are delivered to Ukraine, we may be able to ship at least 10,000 more, if we can secure the funding!

Chromebooks with Headsets for Children
Hundreds of children in orphanages and refugee settlements have been displaced by the war and are missing school and other learning opportunities. Worry about their children’s education is one of the very top concerns of the families in refugee settlements — this is one of very few things they can actually control. There are Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking volunteers around the world who are interested to teach the children remotely, but there are very few laptops where the children are.
We have partnered with Earthlings Hub, Kiddo Byte Ukraine, and Shield Ukraine to send Chromebooks and headsets to the orphanages and refugee centers to allow the children a chance to learn. The first shipment has made it to children!
Just $60 buys a Chromebook (including delivery to Ukraine) and $10 buys a headset. Please donate and share.

Для військової частини розвідувальної роти А4848 закупили антени Truerc X-ray. Вони потрібні для покращення звʼязку та відео дронів.
Купували в Чехії, в Київ антени їхали десь біля 1 тижня.
Відправили хлопцям, а разом з антенами у військову частину поїхали: ліки, шкарпетки, цукерки.

Недавно відбулась евакуація собачки і її семеро діточок. Перевезли з Краматорська до Львову.
Таїсія опікується собачкою-мамою і її дітками, а наш фонд допомагає кормом, ліками та всім, що потрібно.
Наразі, Таїсія отримала цілий візочок того, що ми придбали і тепер сімʼя собачок буде сита і здорова.

Наш фонд продовжує допомагати з евакуацією людей з особливо небезпечних територій України.
В момент звернення до нас, Світлана мала 20 тиждень вагітності. Вона просила допомогти їм з донькою виїхати з міста Костянтинівка. Там були постійні вибухи і залишатись було дуже небезпечно.
Ми придбали квитки до Львова. Світлана з донькою виїхала туди. Звідти ми допомогли їм з переїздом до Європи. Світлана і її донька вилетіли до Норвегії, де знаходяться і зараз, облаштовуються.
Весь цей період Світлана мала психологічну підтримку від волонтерів нашого фонду Ukraine Rescue Fund.
Ми і надалі надаємо підтримку Світлані.

We deliver to all entities that ask for help including but not limited to hospitals, field hospitals/stabilization points, tactical medics' teams, etc.

This is for our soldiers who recently left Avdiivka and took a loss on all of their belongings. We are sending sleeping bags, thermal underwear, medicine, flashlights, warm clothes, dry showers, and power banks.

Our frontline warriors are capable of defending Ukraine as well as establishing their dwelling in various conditions. A chainsaw was needed in order to accomplish tons of work at defense posts. URF purchased the chainsaw and delivered it to our warriors, so they are better equipped in defending themselves and us.

We are sending this portable stove to the Aidar Battalion, along with propane containers and ponchos. They do not always have an opportunity to eat a hot meal, so we try to support our defending forces in such important aspects as well.
URF is calling on _everyone_ to take part in helping Ukrainians.

Ukraine Rescue Fund together with the Ukrainian sister fund "WE WILL WIN TOGETHER" (Kyiv) and the Irpin Charitable Fund "Stiika Natsiia" ("Resilient Nation") made a wonderful holiday for the children of Irpin.
There were many crafts, sweets, and gifts for all participating children. Some of the crafts children took home to show to their moms and then to send to their fathers who protect Ukraine. And some other crafts will be sold at the fair to raise the funds for soldiers’ needs.
